You're not the problem. The industry is.

If you're reading this, your relationship with skincare probably looks like this:

A drawer full of products that didn't work. A few that broke you out. A few that did nothing. A couple that worked for two weeks before your skin got bored. Every one of them recommended by someone — an influencer, a brand quiz, a 'top 10' article, a friend, a clinic — who was paid one way or another to recommend it.

You've watched 14-step Korean routines. You've tried 3-step minimalist routines. You've Googled 'why is my skincare not working' more than once. You've bought the £45 serum and the £6 dupe. You've stopped buying anything for a while because you couldn't trust any of it. You've started again because something has to work.

The truth is simple and almost no-one will say it out loud: nearly every piece of skincare advice you've ever received was structurally biased. The influencer earned commission. The brand quiz only recommended their products. The clinic recommended their treatments. The 'top 10' article was an advertorial. Even the generic advice you read online recycles the same paid recommendations.

You haven't failed at skincare. You've never actually been given honest skincare advice.

What we built instead.

MySkinPlans exists for one reason: to give you a skincare plan from someone whose only job is to get your skin right — not to sell you anything.

  1. Step 1

You answer 10 questions about your skin, your concerns, your current routine, your budget, and your lifestyle. Five minutes from your sofa.

  2. Step 2

Brooke, a Level 4 Skin Specialist at Skin Clinic Isle of Man, builds your plan personally — your morning routine, your evening routine, your weekly treatments, and specific product recommendations across every price range from £4 to £80.

  3. Step 3

Your plan lands in your inbox within 48 hours. Every recommendation explained in plain language. Every product chosen because it's right for *your* skin — not because anyone got paid to recommend it.

Why this works when nothing else has.

Most skincare advice you get online is structurally biased. Influencers earn commission. Brand quizzes only recommend that brand. Clinics recommend what they sell. Even the 'top 10' articles you read are usually paid placements. Brooke earns the same whether your plan recommends a £6 cleanser or an £80 serum — and that single difference is why this works.

What's in your plan.

  • Your morning routine, step-by-step, with timing and application notes
  • Your evening routine, step-by-step, with timing and application notes
  • Weekly treatments and when to add them in
  • Specific product recommendations across three price ranges (budget / mid / premium) — so you can choose what fits your budget
  • Clear reasons-why for every recommendation, in plain language
  • What to expect in week 1, week 4, week 8 — including what 'getting worse before better' actually looks like
  • What to avoid based on your specific skin (active ingredients that don't mix, products that won't suit you)
  • A shopping list with direct links to every recommended product (we earn nothing from these links)
  • Brooke's personal notes on your plan, where relevant

What makes this honest.

Influencer quiz

  • Earns commission on what they recommend
  • Recommends the same products to everyone
  • No clinical approval
  • No follow-up
  • No accountability

Clinic consultation

  • £80-200 for the consultation alone
  • Recommends the products they sell
  • Recommends the treatments they perform
  • Useful but structurally biased
  • 30-60 minutes of your time, in person
The honest one

MySkinPlans

  • £127 one-time payment
  • Zero commission on any product
  • Built and approved by a Level 4 Skin Specialist
  • Honest enough to recommend a £6 cleanser if it's right for your skin
  • Honest enough to tell you when a product won't fix your concern and you need an in-clinic treatment
  • 5 minutes of your time, from your sofa

What you're probably thinking.

How is this different from the personalised plans I've tried before?
Most 'personalised' skincare quizzes are owned by brands and only recommend that brand's products. The handful of independent quiz tools have no expert approval. We're the only platform that combines genuinely independent product recommendations (across every brand and price range) with line-by-line approval by a Level 4 Skin Specialist. The result is a plan that's actually personalised AND actually expert-validated — which sounds obvious, but no-one else is doing both.
How is this different from a regular clinic consultation?
In a regular consultation with a Level 4 Skin Specialist, product recommendations naturally lean toward what that clinic sells — not because anyone's being dishonest, but because that's how clinic economics work. MySkinPlans removes that bias entirely. Brooke gets paid the same regardless of what you buy or where you buy it. That's the whole point. You get the expertise of a clinical-grade consultation, with the honesty that's structurally impossible inside a normal clinic visit.
What if my skin is complicated — pregnancy, eczema, post-accutane, sensitive?
The questionnaire is designed to flag exactly these situations. Plans for customers with contraindications (pregnancy, breastfeeding, recent accutane, medically diagnosed conditions, severe sensitivity) get extra-careful review — and in some cases we'll tell you honestly that you need in-clinic care rather than a topical plan. We'd rather refund you than send you a plan that isn't right for your skin.
What if I don't like the plan?
Give the plan a real try first. If it's not working for you, we'll amend it as many times as it takes — free of charge — until the guidance is right for your skin. If you've genuinely tried it, worked with us on amendments, and it still isn't working, we'll approve a full refund within 60 days of purchase.
What happens after I get my plan? Will you keep selling me things?
After 8 weeks, when your skin has had time to respond to the plan, we may offer you an updated plan at a lower price (£67) — only if you want it. You're never locked in to anything you didn't choose. You bought a plan. You get a plan.

A word from our specialist.

Brooke
From the founderA note from Brooke: I've worked with skin for [X] years. I've watched people walk into my clinic with bags of skincare products, most of which were wrong for them, all of which someone got paid to recommend. The honest truth is that most skincare advice in this industry is structured to sell, not to help. That's why I'm partnering with MySkinPlans. For the first time, I can give people the kind of advice I'd give a friend — without a financial interest in what they buy. If a £6 cleanser is right for your skin, that's what your plan will recommend. That's the whole point. — Brooke, Level 4 Skin Specialist, Skin Clinic Isle of Man

FAQ

How quickly will I get my plan?
Most plans are delivered within 24-48 hours. Brooke approves every plan personally before it's sent.
What products will be recommended?
Whatever's right for your skin and your budget — across every major skincare brand, plus drugstore options when they're the right answer. We have no affiliation with any brand and earn no commission on any recommendation.
What if I have specific products I already love?
You'll tell us in the questionnaire. We work them into your plan where they fit, or honestly tell you if they're not right for the skin you described.
Where is my data stored?
Your questionnaire data is stored securely, used only to generate and review your plan, and never sold or shared. UK GDPR compliant. You can request deletion at any time.
Can I update my plan if my skin changes?
After 8 weeks we offer a follow-up plan at £67 that updates your routine based on how your skin has responded. It's optional — only if you want an updated routine.
How is my plan put together?
Your questionnaire answers are processed through our intake system and Brooke approves every plan personally before it's sent. She has final authority on every recommendation in your plan — what's included, what's excluded, what's prioritised, and what's right for your specific skin.

You've already tried everything else. This is what you haven't tried yet — a plan built for you, approved by someone whose only job is to be right.
